Compassion and practical therapy is Michael’s approach to clients’ needs. Having practiced and instructed various martial arts most of his life, he understands body movement, impact and injury recovery on a personal level. Working with Physiotherapists’ - Kinesiologists’ - Athletic therapists’ & Osteopaths’ sharing clients in long term care plans and reinforcing therapy strengths.
I graduated from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy of Utopia. I continually seek education in clinical integration of assessment/treatment, research.
Treatments include: thorough history and assessment Palpation, special testing, baseline measurements and remedial exercise suggestions. Depending on the Treatment Plan agreed upon by the client it can include: Swedish (reducing pain and promoting circulation) Trigger Point release, MyoFascial Release IASTM Instrument assisted Soft-Tissue Mobilization, Muscle Energy, Positional Release, Joint mobilization and NeuroMuscular therapy.
